Below the superconducting phase transition temperature nonlinear current-voltage (IV) characteristics can be very important to understand the nature of the superfluid phase stiffness. Nonlinearity in IV of cuprate has been studied by using different methods. Possibility of KT transition in 3D cuprates with a wide range of current density and strong pinning potential has been explored with the help of an exponent originally introduced in 3DXY model. Superfluidity in several such bulk systems will also be discussed.
